About TriBOISE.
TriBOISE is a triathlon training program designed to coach you
to the Ironman in Boise, the
Spudman or the Emmett.
TriBOISE will focus primarily on these
events, including the Redfish Racing for Recovery Olympic and Sprint event
at Redfish Lake June 21.
Goals of TriBOISE.
Our number one goal is to get you to the starting line of your
target event. During the training we will teach you and coach you, and you'll have more fun than
attempting to train by yourself. Your first triathlon can be
intimidating and TriBOISE will help you discover that you can do
it, but also that you can love doing it. Coaches have fun... you
will have fun!

Swim Technique.
Our
swim instruction is based on Total Immersion.
We'll teach you the basics and provide
multiple swim clinics and group workouts at local
pools and ponds... with experienced champion swim coaches. We'll meet at the
BSU and Rocky Mountain Fitness pools and bundle swim/bike
workouts with professional instruction on technique. No extra
fees.
Bike Technique.
Professional instruction and
technique included in this affordable package. Learn and
practice important transition skills for water-to-bike, and
bike-to-run. Plus,
each member receives a pro bike fit at Idaho Mountain Touring
with Antonio Gonzalez. A $90 value. No extra fees. Real value.
Run Technique.
From the bike to the run... one
of the most difficult transitions made easier and more efficient
with workouts designed by champion coaches. Learn important
stride length and foot turnover concepts that lead to faster
split times.
Injury prevention.
Current training methodologies
emphasize injury prevention, with a gradual building of your
base fitness with increasing volumes and low intensity. You then
transition into lower volumes and higher intensities as your
fitness peaks prior to tapering into your target event. Injuries are part of every sport, and with our team of
experienced tri coaches and partners, along with our
educational seminars and clinics... your chances of getting to
the starting line injury free increase dramatically.
Motivation and fun.
By committing to a triathlon goal you are separating yourself
from the pack in a way that highlights your values, self worth,
and courage. Our job is to not let you forget that you can do
it and you are worth it!
Fundamentals.
Most people train for their first triathlon learning things the
hard way, causing stress and decreasing their chances of
completing a goal. With TriBOISE, we'll help you learn the
fundamentals of the sport of tri. Every member is instructed in
swim, bike and run technique at no added cost.
