Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene - Sunday, June 22, 2008 After celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2007 and resigning another five year contract, Ford Ironman USA Coeur d’Alene is becoming a favorite among our athletes. The city of Coeur d’Alene has adopted this event and has truly made it their own. In 2007 North America Sports introduced a new bike course for the event, and it received rave reviews from the athletes. Ford Ironman USA Coeur d’Alene will feature about 2,000 athletes from around the world competing for 80 qualifying spots for the 2008 Ford Ironman Triathlon World Championship. It will also serve as the NA Sports Women’s Professional Championship, drawing some of the best professional women in the sport.  12th Annual PACIFIC CREST Weekend Sports Festival The weekend begins on Friday morning, and the Celebration continues through Sunday.
