TriBOISE's Splash N' Dash Series 1,000 meter swim. 5K run. Too much fun! Saturdays May 17th and 24th Free to all triathletes. $10 donations accepted to the Boise Rescue Mission each Saturday. 3 Short 'Mini' Races A series of short swim-run workouts conducted in a group environment to simulate real life racing conditions. Our Splash N’ Dash events are designed around the premise that athletes improve and learn best challenging themselves in race-like conditions. Each race will be precluded by a clinic that will focus on different elements of triathlon racing. Who should participate? The appeal of the Splash N' Dash series is that it has a little for just about any triathlete. Are you new to triathlon?Show up for the structured 9am clinic. Learn valuable tips from experienced triathlete coaches. After the clinic, practice your new techniques in the open water and on the Green Belt in a controlled and safe environment. What to bring? For the swim: wetsuit is required. Goggles, swim cap, towel and hot tub would be real nice. For the run: running shoes and gear. Dry socks. Miscellaneous: friends, family. Camera. How much race support is provided? We'll have a kayaker on the water to help. Water will be provided at the transition area and is available at the restrooms at Shoreline Park. We are not responsible for your belongings, but many will leave gear and items at the main transition area at the dock. Saturdays April 26, May 3 and May 10 Race and Clinic Schedule 1.
